This is the removal of teeth that meet cannot be treated and preserved. it is also indicated for case of wrongly positioned or impacted teeth or teeth that meet some other clinical indications. It should be noted that toothache on its own is not a good reason to remove teeth

This is the removal of impacted teeth. A tooth is said to be impacted if it fails to reach the full occlusal level to bite with the opposing tooth of if it is tilted or embedded or submerged in the bone. This kind of presentation is common in 3rd molars.
